Your Resilient Mindset
There are goals or objects in life that we would like to have. Then there are goals or objects that we must have. Possessions that we would try to obtain by any means necessary. We adapt, we restructure our methods, and we develop new ways to reach that goal. By doing this, we are becoming resilient to the situation and choosing to win at all cost.
One of my favorite words that I like to relate to is the word resilient. To adapt, bend, not fold, and retract back to its original form. No matter what pulls you this way or that way, always keep your positive energy ready to get back to work. I have always had pride in my ability to keep my vibe in most situations that I came across. I always had an idea of what I wanted and always felt like I deserved it.
You have to be adaptive to the situations that present themselves in your path to your goal. There is no straight path to a victory or else everyone would not understand the value of hard work and determination. Some challenges will present themselves as impossible to surpass but by taking on the challenge, you are telling yourself that nothing can stand in your path. I have an analogy that I like to present to people when they are in a slight funk. I ask, “If you wouldn’t try to stop a moving train, then why would you let someone stand in front of your dreams, goals, and wants?”

This is the mentality that you should obtain when reaching for your goals. That my wants and needs are like that of a train. Once it starts moving, most things in its path will either move on their own will or be moved. An example from my life would be when I had my oldest child. I was staying in an apartment at the time and told myself that I would be married and inside of my very own home when we come home from the hospital delivery.
I truly wanted that for myself and nobody could tell me anything differently. I wanted my home before my child came home, I wanted my girlfriend to become my wife, I wanted to graduate from college, I wanted enter the field of real estate… these are the things that I had to obtain and did not care about the what ifs and the cannot dos.
You have to develop the mindset that I will accomplish my goals and no one or thing is going to stop me. When I come across an obstacle, I will adapt to that situation and overcome the challenge. Keep pushing through until your goal is in its physical form.
Always keep in mind that what you truly desire and want will be obtained when you are ready. Once you are ready, get in the resilient mindset and just like a train, keep pushing forward. With that being said, I do hope you appreciate our site, learn a great deal, and focus on building yourself for the person that you are to become. Thank you in advance and for your time!
