The Key is Within Creation and Ownership

Why is creating more over consumption a key to a more abundant life?  Why is ownership or the control of something the quickest way to obtain wealth?  These are two questions that I use to ask myself often before I did my own research and formed an opinion that works for me.  Your answers may be slightly different but that is what makes us all unique.

While consumption is a part of life, how much and of what you consume is the factor.  Also because of ownership, this allows you to dictate when, where, and how what you have control over performs.  Learning these two methods allowed me to look at life a little differently than I did in my early 20’s.

CREATION

While consuming, you may appreciate how someone is enjoying their life.  How they are doing whatever they want to and it makes you happy for them.  It also possibly allows you to dream of one day having the same success as them. A visulization of you what you see for yourself.

There is nothing wrong with this!  It is completely acceptable and if utilized correctly, leads to motivation and inspiration within yourself.  But also take a step back and notice that you are consuming their creation.  You are consuming their content that is fueling your desire to accomplish something similar to what they are doing.

So how does this entail to you having an abundant life?  Well if you are able to create content, material, and information that inspires you, then you could be possibly inspiring others.  They will begin to consume your creations and be amazed at how happy you are.  The key is to find what inspires you, decide how you want to project it, and take action.

Create whatever inspires you so that it can lead to the inspiration within others.  That is the key to enjoying your own life of abundance.  Whether it be content such as posting blogs, audio for motivation, or videos for visual and inspiration, whatever you decide to create, make sure that is something that you need little drive to get going.

OWNERSHIP

With ownership, you are completely in the driver seat of whatever it is that you are looking to control.  You are giving yourself the ability to dictate the moves and ideas that you need to create the life that you desire.  This part of the process may take upfront work of capital or time but when you do, it is completely yours to control.

Owning your time allows you to create more and dictate how you want to spend your life.  Time is one of the few things that we are not able to retrieve once it is gone.  Unless someone has created a time machine, time is a precious resource that should be utilized accordingly.  So when you have complete ownership of your time, you are allowing yourself the ability to create the life that you are seeking.

Owning your home allows you to build equity, increase your net worth, and create your own generational wealth.  Compared to renting, owning your home allows you have something tangible to pass down to your future generations.  With the forced savings effect of paying down your mortgage and appreciating value, you are not only generating wealth, you are giving yourself the opportunity to borrow against the equity if you ever choose to do so in the future.

Owning your business can allow you to control your income.  Now while your job can control your salary, it does not prevent you from receiving the income that you desire.  Your own business can allow you to make as much as you want or a little as you like.  That is one of the many benefits of owning your own means of controlling your income.
