Envision Your Path to Your Future

There is a saying that if you put your mind to it, you can do anything that you want to.  Whether it is something positive or negative, if you truly see yourself obtaining it, it will happen.  I am a firm believer of this analogy and can attest that while we may not feel we are in the position that we want, we are in positions that we have chosen.

After reflecting back on my life, I realized that the things that I assumed I wanted more than anything, I achieved or obtained.  I may not have received them right when I wanted them, but I did get something that resulted from my persistence and pure determination.

We must always take note that nothing can stop determination and desire but the person that is trying to achieve the goal.  If you let the obstacles and the distractions get to you mentally, it wouldn’t be hard to come back from, you just have to stay resilient and in line with your own will.

An example to provide material wise would be when I was younger probably around 16 or 17.  I had an older cousin that had a Chevrolet Tahoe with all the features that I wanted.  It was something about the Tahoe when he drove it that made me want it even more.  He would play his music from his mp3 player and the songs even sounded better.  When he pulled up to wherever we were, I would always ask could I look inside.

Now this could come off as weird but he understood that I wanted one and he was more than happy to show me.  All the while, I truly envisioned myself obtaining one and set a goal that I would get one.  So I can attest to you now, that I did get one and still have it till this day.  A vision of seeing myself driving the very same style plays over and over whenever I drive it now.

I have had many of these same visions throughout my life and obtained them but it would make this post entirely too long.  So I just want to say that if you truly desire a path, object, goal, or dream, keep in mind that no one can stop you from achieving it but yourself.
