Should I Quit My Job?
Let’s face it, most of us that have had a job, had this thought circulate our minds from time to time. But when faced with the dilemma, what do you do? Who do you listen to and whose advice should you consider? Well I know this isn’t what you were expecting but I am here to suggest that you listen to yourself.
Dreading getting ready for work when you believe you can be doing something else with your time? Watching the news and checking for traffic updates to determine the best route that will save you commuting time? Looking out the window and noticing things such as how free the birds seem when you’ve never even consider them on your off time? It’s okay, these are all legitimate feelings and do not feel bad for having them.
The key is to focus on building something outside of that job. Take the time find something that sparks your interest. Ask your family and friends what it is that they are inspired and fascinated with about you. Do some trial and error situations to find out what you may like or would ultimately end up not liking to avoid the loop of anxiety. By not developing in this area, you would be creating a situation for yourself to possibly be entering the job market again when your funds begin to deplete.
By listening to yourself, your psyche is yelling at you and demanding that you need to change directions. Of course consuming all the leave your job posts and videos are inspiring you but what about after you quit? Creating something such as a business or a side income stream with the ability to grow and prosper is what should get the majority of your attention.
Create multiple streams of income to replace the one that you may have. It always seems easier and less stressful to match your current income when you break it down into several streams. For example if your main income is $40,000 a year, think of creating 4 streams of income that can yield up to $10,000 apiece. This allows you not to feel overwhelmed when trying to replace one stream with one other.
So I say to you, your spirt is telling you to move because you are not happy in your current situation. Listen to it and develop something that only you can build or destroy. Also consider that your job is paying your expenses and the income from your creation can go into developing more streams of income for yourself.
With that being said, I do hope you appreciate our site, learn a great deal, and focus on building yourself for the person that you are to become. Thank you in advance and for your time!
