The Power of a Relationship

Relationships are powerful tools when it comes to stability and reaching the level of success that you are seeking.  Networking with the right individuals and forming the best agreements can be just the leverage you need to get to the next level.  Regardless of friendship, partnership, or marriage, the power of a relationship is a lesson for us all.

As living and breathing beings, we are born with the ability to form relationships.  Whether the relationship is good or bad for us, we can still bring them into our functioning lives.  By forming a bond, we allow ourselves to use leveraging in the relationship to get us to a position we may be seeking.

For example let’s take a marriage relationship into consideration.  As you live and grow together, you begin to depend on the other for some of things you used to do on your own.  You depend on the relationship to keep your sanity through the constant obstacles in life.  You use the relationship to help raise your children.  You use the marriage relationship to fulfill your needs and do the things that you make not feel up to doing.

How about a friendship?  Sometimes we see things in others that we would like as characteristics for ourselves.  So we leverage a friend’s qualities to help us in areas that we see as a vision in the future.  A friend may be more outgoing or studious than yourself and you utilize them to talk you into stepping outside of your box or staying focused on your studies.  We exploit our friends to be that side of us that we may be a little hesitant to bring out.

What about your job or business?  You form relationships with others in your workplace who understand what you may be going through.  Can help you learn about a new department that you are considering.  Allow you to grow your business in areas that may take longer if you tried it all on your own.  Put you in a position to be around others that can be very beneficial to your productivity and compensation.
